Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
- Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician needed for coverage on an ongoing basis until a permanent physician is hired
- Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
- Practice setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care
- Trauma Level III facility
- Patient population consists of adult and geriatric patients
- Case mix is 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology; no Internal Medicine
- 1 physician in practice with no APP support
- Average outpatient clinic volume: 12-25 patients per day
- Average inpatient rounding/call volume: 2-8 patients per day
- EMR: Epic
- On-call and weekend coverage required
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology required
- Board Certified in Hematology highly preferred
- Active Virginia license required
- BLS required
- Full travel reimbursement provided
