Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Details:

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology coverage with interest in long-term permanent placement
• 
  
• Coverage split between two campuses: 3 days at Mishawaka and 2 days at Plymouth
• 
  
• Evening call coverage included at both locations
• 
  
• Patient population consists of adult and geriatric patients
• 
  
• Practice split is 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology
• 
  
• Average of 30 patients per day in outpatient clinic setting
• 
  
• Documentation system/EMR: EPIC
• 
  
• Required procedures include management of VAD/CV Catheters and Bone Marrow Biopsy
• 
  
• Required duties include participation on a Tumor Board, management of Bone Marrow Transplants, ordering tests and images, Blood Bank management, prescribing, and administration of Chemotherapy
• 
  
• Board Certification required (ABMS/AOA board certification in one specialty with demonstrated competency in the other)
• 
  
• Active Indiana State License or IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand required
• 
  
• BLS certification required
• 
  
• Minimum 6-month commitment required
• 
  
• NPDB Self-Query report required at time of presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
