Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Must already hold an active Alaska license prior to consideration
• 
  
• Board Certified in ABIM or Family Medicine required
• 
  
• 12-hour shifts with rotating call coverage (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
• 
  
• Must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month
• 
  
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends required
• 
  
• Patient census ranges from 90 to 95 patients with 18 to 22 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Closed ICU unit with intensivist on site; no procedures required
• 
  
• No in-house call; phone consults only
• 
  
• EMR system used is EPIC
• 
  
• Coverage need is ongoing into 2026
• 
  
• Site Directors will conduct phone interviews with potential locum providers to answer any questions
