Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• On-site hospitalist coverage with a focus on night shift, weekend, and overnight coverage needs
• 
  
• Providers round on an average of 16 patients per day
• 
  
• Total daily census averages 65-70 patients across the hospitalist team
• 
  
• Daily admissions average approximately 12-16 patients
• 
  
• 3-4 physicians staffed daily for day shifts, including site chief or assistant site chief
• 
  
• Large mix of patient population as expected at a tertiary facility
• 
  
• Level 4 Trauma Center
• 
  
• ICU is closed; no ICU rounding required
• 
  
• No procedures or vent management required
• 
  
• No call or rotation schedule involved
• 
  
• Providers participate in grand rounds on assigned floors with nurses and facility staff
• 
  
• All typical ancillary support staff available on-site
• 
  
• Experienced providers with inpatient hospitalist experience preferred
• 
  
• Colorado licensure required at time of presentation; IMLC is not an option
