Job Details:

• Hospital Medicine position utilizing Meditech EMR system
• 
  
• Multiple service schedules available: Service A 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Service B 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and Service C 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 
  
• On-call rotations available by service: Service C on-call 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Service B on-call 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and Service A on-call 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• 
  
• All three services transition to 12-hour shifts during high-volume periods
• 
  
• Weekends operate with two 12-hour services with surge coverage as needed
• 
  
• Once on-call rotation is complete, providers are not expected to be called back after their shift ends
• 
  
• Providers will round on 15-22 patients per day depending on volume and shift assignment
• 
  
• 10-12 daily admissions with a census of 50-60 patients
• 
  
• Open ICU with intensivist involvement managing drips and vents on-site
• 
  
• 1-2 consults per day to behavioral health unit or with surgery
• 
  
• Robust support staff including PT, OT, SLP, case managers, respiratory therapy, and intensivist on-site
• 
  
• ED, surgery, and intensivist available to assist with procedures
• 
  
• Seasoned providers capable of handling 18-20+ encounters per day are encouraged to apply
• 
  
• Orientation consists of two 12-hour shadow shifts

This facility is a 120-bed acute care hospital serving an underserved patient population in southern New Hampshire. The facility operates as a Level 2 trauma center with a dedicated trauma surgery team and offers a full range of inpatient services including behavioral health, surgical services, and intensive care. The hospital is supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team and robust ancillary services, ensuring high-quality patient care across all departments.
