Job Details:

• Days only position with 7 on/7 off schedule
• 
  
• Shift times run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 
  
• Round on approximately 20 to 22 patients per day
• 
  
• Hospitalist census is approximately 370 patients with hospitalists carrying about 75% of the census
• 
  
• ICU rounding is required
• 
  
• Procedures and vent management are not required as intensivists are on staff
• 
  
• Consulting physician available who sees approximately 12 to 20 consults per day
• 
  
• No call involved
• 
  
• Well-staffed hospital with all subspecialties available
• 
  
• EMR: Meditech with Expanse
• 
  
• Must have a Florida license and Florida DEA with a clean file
• 
  
• Hospitalist experience required

Facility:

This is a highly specialized 532-bed hospital featuring a STEMI center, Stroke center, Transplant Cellular Therapy program, and a Complex Cardiac Center. The facility operates a Graduate Medical Education (GME) teaching program and maintains a well-staffed environment with access to all subspecialties. The hospital does not operate as a trauma center but does have ICU capabilities, supporting a broad and complex patient population.
