Job Details:

• Nocturnist position available with day shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night shifts running 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 
  
• Schedule follows a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
• 
  
• On-site position with weekend coverage included
• 
  
• Hospitalists carry approximately 75% of the patient census, with providers rounding on 20 to 22 patients per day
• 
  
• Daily hospitalist census is approximately 370 patients
• 
  
• ICU rounding is required; intensivists are available so procedures and vent management are not required
• 
  
• Facility has no trauma center but does have ICU, Stroke, STEMI, and Transplant Cellular Therapy capabilities
• 
  
• Consulting physician available, seeing approximately 12 to 20 consults per day
• 
  
• Well-staffed hospital with all subspecialties available
• 
  
• GME teaching program on-site with grand rounds conducted by teaching teams
• 
  
• EMR system: Meditech with Expanse
• 
  
• Must have prior hospitalist experience
• 
  
• Must hold a Florida license and Florida DEA with a clean file

This is a highly specialized 532-bed hospital offering advanced services including STEMI, Stroke, Transplant Cellular Therapy, and Complex Cardiac care. The facility operates a Graduate Medical Education (GME) teaching program and is well-staffed with all subspecialties represented. It maintains a robust support structure and serves a high-acuity patient population across multiple specialized service lines.
