Job Details:

• Nocturnist position available with day shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night shifts running 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 
  
• Schedule follows a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
• 
  
• On-site position with weekend coverage required
• 
  
• Hospitalist experience required
• 
  
• Must hold a Florida medical license and Florida DEA
• 
  
• Providers must be matched to the Hospital Medicine position
• 
  
• EMR system: Meditech with Expanse
• 
  
• 532-bed highly specialized facility with GME teaching program
• 
  
• Hospitalists round on approximately 20 to 22 patients per day with a daily census of approximately 370
• 
  
• Hospitalists carry approximately 75% of census
• 
  
• ICU rounding required; intensivists are available for procedures and vent management
• 
  
• Facility includes all subspecialties with a consulting physician seeing 12 to 20 patients per day
• 
  
• Facility specializations include STEMI, Stroke, Transplant Cellular Therapy, and Complex Cardiac Center
• 
  
• No trauma center; no call involved
• 
  
• Well-staffed hospital with strong support staff across all subspecialties
