Physician - Hospitalist
Job Details:
- Provide inpatient hospital medical unit coverage with ICU bed responsibilities
- Coverage dates: August 6 at 0800 through August 10 at 0800
- Onsite schedule from 0800 to 1800 with call coverage when not onsite
- Call coverage included via beeper/phone call
- 1 provider needed to cover for vacation absence
- Patient population is 100% adult with 50% geriatric
- Average of 14 patients per day
- Inpatient setting with additional calls from nursing home
- Trauma Level 4 designation facility
- EMR/Documentation system: Epic
- Weekend coverage required
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required
- Active Kentucky license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Active DEA required
- Travel reimbursements approved for lodging, airfare, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
