Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Hospital Medicine position covering day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with on-call responsibility for the entirety of the shift
• 
  
• No call or callback expected once shift is completed
• 
  
• Seasoned providers capable of handling 22+ encounters per day are encouraged to apply
• 
  
• Must have recent acute care rehab experience
• 
  
• Round on a daily census of 14-24 patients
• 
  
• Handle 4-5 daily admissions
• 
  
• Provide consultations to behavioral health and rehab units, approximately 4-6 consults per day
• 
  
• Round in an open ICU with tele-intensivist involvement managing drips and vents
• 
  
• Support staff includes PT, OT, SLP, case managers, respiratory therapy, a virtual intensivist, and ED/surgery for procedures
• 
  
• Patient population is primarily underserved
• 
  
• Facility has 100 beds and is not a trauma center
