Job Details:

• Precept and provide direct supervision for residents in an outpatient clinic during AM and PM half-day sessions
• 
  
• Four (4) half-day sessions per week required
• 
  
• Full-time schedule includes 9 half-day clinical sessions and one half-day administrative session per week
• 
  
• Part-time schedule includes 4 half-day clinical sessions per week with no administrative session
• 
  
• See 10-14 patients per half-day session in an ambulatory setting
• 
  
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population
• 
  
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions through comprehensive evaluation, testing, and clinical assessment
• 
  
• Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes
• 
  
• Educate patients and families by clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
• 
  
• Mentor, coach, and serve as a trusted advisor to Internal Medicine residents
• 
  
• Lead formal and informal resident evaluations and provide meaningful feedback to support resident growth
• 
  
• Active MD license required
• 
  
• Local or drive-in candidates preferred; if lodging is needed, please clarify frequency in presentation
• 
  
• Prior precepting experience preferred
