Job Summary
- Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
- Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.
- Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
- Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
- Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Education
- Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Experience
- Completion of a IM or FM residency program
Licensure/Certification
- Current Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD; other required licenses/board certifications pertinent to specialty/area worked
- Must have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked; includes age-specific competency
