Job Details:

• Coverage needed for 6 weekdays per month (Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM inpatient cath lab, STEMI, and night call)
• 
  
• Weekend coverage needed for 1 2 weekends per month (Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM)
• 
  
• Providers will be cross-credentialed and may work between two sites within a day or stretch of days
• 
  
• Schedule runs Sunday through Sunday, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM, with cath lab hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 
  
• Procedures include PCI and PE
• 
  
• Provider will see patients in a consult-only capacity; cardiology is not the admitting physician, as hospitalists handle admissions
• 
  
• May be called in 0 4 times throughout a weekend; staff is called in approximately 10 times per month on average
• 
  
• Must be comfortable covering STEMIs, cardiac catheterizations, and interventions
• 
  
• Preferred experience with cardiac cath and PE procedures
• 
  
• Must be local enough to drive in within a radius of no more than 5 hours
• 
  
• Active PA license required; IMLC not accepted
