Job Details:
- Inpatient and call practice setting
- Staffed onsite Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call weekday evenings Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- On-call weekends from Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
- Potential for some rounding responsibility with approximately 2 inpatient admissions per physician per day
- Call volume includes STEMI activations with providers receiving more phone calls while on-call than emergent callbacks
- STEMI call is aligned with unassigned call and noninvasive coverage
- Other Interventional Cardiologists will be present during coverage
- No supervision of other healthcare providers required
- Patient age demographic includes adult and geriatric populations
- Documentation system: EPIC
- Procedures required include Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, Medical Management of Vascular Disease, Coronary Angiograms, Embolic Protection, Carotid Artery Stenting, and Atherectomy
- Board Certification required
- BLS/ACLS required
- Active Virginia state license required
- Clean malpractice history required
- Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (pulled within 30 days)
- Facility provides reimbursement for flight, hotel, and rental car
