Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
- Provide Interventional Cardiology coverage including 24-hour call and STEMI call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- Coverage dates include August 10-17th with additional September dates pending
- Inpatient and outpatient setting with an average of 5 consults on general call and 2-6 coronary angiograms per day
- Patient mix consists of adults 18 years and older
- Clinic volume of 14-16 patients per day with 30-minute appointment slots
- Locum will follow their own patients until sign off
- Work alongside 3 general cardiologists, 2 interventional cardiologists, and 1 NP
- Fully staffed office with 1 MA per provider in the clinic
- Anesthesia support available as needed for inpatient cases; hospitalist services handle all admissions
- Required procedures include PCI, diagnostic caths, right/left heart caths, echo/stress interpretation, STEMI coverage, IVUS/FFR/IFR
- FTE range of 0.5 to 1.0
- EMR system: Meditech with Patient Keeper interface
- Board Certification (BC) or true Board Eligibility (BE) in Interventional Cardiology required
- Active Oregon license required
- BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications required
- Fellowship/Residency in Interventional Cardiology required
- Clean malpractice record required for emergency privileges
- Self-Query NPDB report mandatory at time of presentation, dated within 30 days of presentation date
