Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Job Details:

• Provide interventional radiology locum coverage including general IR and stroke thrombectomy
• 
  
• 8-hour day shifts generally between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM with evening call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• 
  
• 24-hour call coverage required on weekends
• 
  
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions including angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization therapy
• 
  
• Perform vascular access procedures including PICC lines, central lines, port-a-cath insertions, and IVC filter placements
• 
  
• Perform TIPS, aspiration and drainage procedures, percutaneous needle biopsies, abscess drainage, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
• 
  
• Perform pain management procedures including joint/epidural injections, vertebroplasty, and arthrograms
• 
  
• Perform additional procedures including uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, and cryoablation
• 
  
• Neuro stroke thrombectomy capability is required
• 
  
• Average of 10-15 procedures performed during the 8-hour on-site day shift
• 
  
• Call back typically occurs for emergencies only during weekday and weekend call shifts
• 
  
• EMR system used is Epic
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• IR residency or fellowship required
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS required
• 
  
• Active North Dakota license highly preferred; IMLC required if ND license is not active
• 
  
• NPDB self-query report must be dated within 30 days of presentation date
• 
  
• Procedure list must be completed using Yes or No responses indicating experience with each required procedure
