    Opportunity:

    Physician - Radiology - Interventional


    Job Details:

    • Provide Interventional Radiology (IR) services on-site at the Chattanooga campus, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

    • Weekday call coverage required from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday

    • Weekend and holiday call coverage required from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM, two days per week

    • Diagnostic radiology reading is not required; 100% IR-focused providers are accepted

    • Support staff will be available on-site

    • PACS and dictation systems include Merge, Powerscribe 360, and Dragon

    • Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, arteriography, catheter-based arterial and venous procedures, image-guided biopsies, aspirations and drainage procedures

    • Perform image-guided genitourinary, hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal, and musculoskeletal procedures

    • Perform tumor therapy and ablation including radiofrequency and cryoablation

    • Manage insertion of central venous and dialysis access catheters

    • Perform TIPS, uterine artery embolization, vertebral augmentation procedures, and endovenous laser therapy

    • Perform ultrasound-guided thoracentesis and paracentesis, as well as fluoroscopic-guided lumbar puncture

    • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using fluoroscopy, digital radiography, CT, sonography, and MRI

    • Communicate critical values and findings consistent with medical staff policy

    • Provide pre- and post-operative management of endovascular patients and participate in short- and long-term post-procedure follow-up care

    • Board Certification or Board Eligibility required

    • Active Tennessee license or IMLC required

    • BLS and ACLS certifications required due to use of moderate sedation

    • Active DEA required
