Job Details:

• Full-time Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist position to join a 3-physician/2-APP IR team
• 
  
• Hospital-based IR services with day-shift schedule and Q3 call coverage
• 
  
• Call schedule includes every third weekday and every third weekend
• 
  
• Average of 8 cases per day with primarily adult and geriatric patient demographics
• 
  
• Level I trauma designation facility
• 
  
• Required procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
• 
  
• Additional procedures include orthopedic, gynecology, and urology cases
• 
  
• IR support team includes manager and two APPs
• 
  
• Board certification in Interventional Radiology required
• 
  
• Active Michigan state medical license required (IMLC or compact license not accepted)
• 
  
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 
  
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• 
  
• NPDB self-query required at presentation (within 30 days)
• 
  
• Local providers preferred with mileage reimbursement available
• 
  
• Open to travel providers who can provide 2+ weeks of coverage per month
