Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
- Full-time Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist position to join a 3-physician/2-APP IR team
- Hospital-based IR services with day-shift schedule and Q3 call coverage
- Call schedule includes every third weekday and every third weekend
- Average of 8 cases per day with primarily adult and geriatric patient demographics
- Level I trauma designation facility
- Required procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
- Additional procedures include orthopedic, gynecology, and urology cases
- IR support team includes manager and two APPs
- Board certification in Interventional Radiology required
- Active Michigan state medical license required (IMLC or compact license not accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
- NPDB self-query required at presentation (within 30 days)
- Local providers preferred with mileage reimbursement available
- Open to travel providers who can provide 2+ weeks of coverage per month
