Description
General Job Description This position is responsible for driving referral growth by building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and a variety of healthcare facilities. This role is critical within the organization; therefore, the successful candidate must be a team player, hold a strong commitment to service excellence for patients and care partners, have a positive attitude, energetic spirit, and possess excellent people and communication skills.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Practice
Primarily responsible for executing strategic business development/networking activities, such as field outreach, community activities, exhibiting/attending conferences, special events, and physician meetings to drive referrals for the Practice.
Manage/optimize relationships with existing referring offices and patients to facilitate repeat business and develop new referral relationships with physicians and medical staff.
Participate in and contribute to business development & marketing project plans for execution and measure efforts by documenting all interactions to ensure revenue growth via weekly reports.
Support design for creative marketing materials, such as newsletters, promotional materials, electronic media posts, signage, and press releases.
Support social media presence as necessary (i/e postings, postings, responding to reviews, and connecting with the community).
Ensure collaborative relationships exist between the Practice and referring physicians, clinic staff, referral coordinators, practice administrators, and any relevant business partners.
Professional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or similar preferred.
Progressive sales, marketing, and business development experience in the healthcare industry required, previous physician practice experience strongly desirable.
Must possess a proven ability to communicate with and positively persuade others.
Experience with online marketing and social media preferred.
Strong computer skills required (graphic design experience a plus).
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, public speaking, verbal, and written communication, and public speaking skills.
Ability to independently meet with physicians and employers to market services of the Practice

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, management, third-party payers, patients, and the public.
Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Computer proficiency and prior experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Requires frequent bending/carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite healthcare services including computer entry.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, health care administration or related field preferred.
