Summary:

The Physician Liaison position is responsible for promoting the services and enhancing the reputation of Cook Children's Home Health with a concentrated focus on relationship building and business to business marketing. This position is responsible for identifying business opportunities that align with the strategic goals of Cook Children's Home Health, promoting service lines, generating growth, referral enhancement, gathering of strategic information and process improvement. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with potential referral sources as well as Cook Children's Home Health and medical staff and departments. Complies with all financial, regulatory and legal guidelines associated with referral development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Clinical practice

  • Healthcare referral development

  • Physician recruiting

  • Direct sales to adult and/or pediatric physicians

  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with 5 years of clinical management experience may be considered in lieu of the bachelor's degree requirement.

  • Proficiency with PC systems and a strong working knowledge of:

  • CRM platforms

  • Microsoft Word

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Valid driver's license with a clear driving record required.

  • Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel and occasional weekend travel.

  • Demonstrated self-motivation, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and consistent follow-through.

  • Certification/Licensure

  • Current licensure, registration, or certification required, if applicable to the candidate's degree or professional discipline.
