    Opportunity Information:

    California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Transplant Program is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Transplant Hepatologist physician to lead the development of the liver donor liver transplant program as Medical Director of Living Donor Liver Transplant. Our Division of Hepatology has 10 transplant hepatologists involved in clinical care, research, education, and advocacy work.

    California Pacific Medical Center is a 274-bed state-of-the-art hospital in the heart of San Francisco that serves as the tertiary/quaternary hospital for the Sutter 20+ hospital network and a referral destination for multiple other hospitals in Northern California and Nevada. In addition, the program provides care at 10 regional liver clinics in Northern California.

    The Division of Hepatology serves a diverse patient population with general hepatology and transplant hepatology needs. California Pacific Medical Center s Transplant Program has been performing solid organ transplantation for over 50 years. In 202% CPMC performed 96 cadaveric donor liver transplants. Our division has active clinical programs with specialty areas including Alcohol associated Liver Disease, Portal Hypertension, Autoimmune Liver Disease, Metabolic dysfunction Associated Steatotic Liver Disease, Liver Cancer, and Transplant Oncology. Members are actively engaged in clinical trials, clinical research, and NIH-funded studies. Hepatologists are core faculty for the ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology fellowships at California Pacific Medical Center. Our clinical activities are strongly supported by robust administrative and nursing staffing.

    Qualifications:

    BC/BE in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.

    3-5 years of experience with living donor liver transplant preferred

    Active or eligible for a California Medical License.
