Physician MD/DO - Full Time - Outpatient Wound Care Center

Job Description:

Korzen Health is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to lead an established outpatient Wound Care Clinic program in the Lanham, MD market area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a physician who enjoys a hands-on, procedure-driven practice environment and wants to focus on delivering specialized care without the demands of traditional hospital-based medicine.

A Highly Procedural Clinical Role

This position is designed for physicians who enjoy performing procedures and managing complex patient cases in an outpatient setting.

Key aspects of the role include:
• Procedure-focused wound care practice with a strong emphasis on hands-on treatment
• Performing procedures such as debridement, incision and drainage (I&D), suturing, and advanced wound interventions
• Caring primarily for a geriatric patient population with complex wound healing needs
• Structured patient flow with scheduled appointments only—no walk-ins
• Opportunity to develop expertise in advanced wound care therapies, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO)

• No on-call responsibilities

Strong Clinical Support Team

You will have a dedicated team in place to support patient care, including:
• Case Manager
• Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses
• Office Manager
• Front and back-office support staff

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in primary specialty
• Active, unrestricted medical license
• Current DEA license
• Strong procedural background required

• Examples include suturing, I&D, wound procedures, or similar procedural experience
  • Comfortable working in a procedure-focused outpatient environment
