What You Bring

  • MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)
  • Completed U.S. residency in internal medicine or family medicine
  • Alabama medical license (or eligibility)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to quality patient care

This facility has been a part of the community since 1963, and is a 454-bed, not-for-profit medical center. The area recognizes Baptist Medical Center South for its leading services in cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurology, and surgery. Its services have expanded to include an accredited sleep disorders center, regional neonatal intensive care unit, chest pain diagnosis and treatment center within the emergency department, behavioral health treatment facility and family centered maternity center.
