Overview:

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled, board-certified/board-eligible general Pulmonologist to join our thriving outpatient practice in Linden, NJ. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-respected team while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance.

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a 100% outpatient setting. This full-time position features a four-day work week (Monday - Thursday) with no inpatient responsibilities, allowing you to focus on building lasting relationships with your patients. The ideal candidate will be available to start in 2026.

 

Position Highlights

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology.
• Must hold or be eligible for an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current DEA registration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary diseases, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease.
• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in a light, shared outpatient call schedule.

Starting Minimum Rate: HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $271,213. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
