Requirements
Board Certified in
Neurology
Fellowship training or specialized experience
State of Michigan License
Expertise in the diagnosis and management of Alzheimers disease, frontotemporal dementia, Lewy body dementia, and related disorders
Comfortable working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Conducting comprehensive cognitive assessments and neurologic evaluations
Diagnosing and managing MS / Neuro immunology in adult and geriatric patients
Coordinating care with neuropsychologists, social workers, and primary care providers
Guiding families through disease progression, care planning, and available resources
Participating in memory clinic or multidisciplinary cognitive care programs
Engaging in educational, quality improvement, or research initiatives related to cognitive health
