    Opportunity Information:

    Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking to hire a full-time movement disorders and neurodegenerative physician to join an established group of Neurologists providing Neurology services in 2 East Bay Medical Centers. The SEBMG Neurology Department provides 24/7 coverage for ER and hospital inpatients. This includes coverage for a comprehensive stroke center.

     

    SEBMG is a rapidly growing multi-specialty medical group whose physicians and advanced practice clinicians work in 10 care centers and 4 hospitals in the San Francisco East Bay. SEBMG is affiliated with Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, a not-for-profit health care organization providing operational and administrative support to the medical group.

     

    Position details:

    Care for a large number of patients with Parkinson’s disease as well as other movement disorders.

    Deep brain stimulator programming, neurotoxin injections for dystonia, use of subcutaneous medication pumps.

    Assist in management of patients with dementia of various causes.

     

    Department Highlights:

    Multiple sub-specialty neurology group with expertise in many areas of Neurology.

    Dedicated medical social worker and advanced practice pharmacist as part of the patient care team.

    Multiple hybrid Neurologist working both inpatient and outpatient.

    Comprehensive stroke center and one of the two hospitals.

    Teaching of internal medicine residents (compensated).

     

    Qualifications:
    • Board Certified/Eligible
    • Possess active and unrestricted California Medical License
    • Current DEA license
    • Advanced Parkinson’s experience strongly preferred, including deep brain stimulator programming and botulinum toxin injections for dystonia.
