    Through the recruitment of outstanding physicians and staff, acquisition of sophisticated equipment and the development of new programs, neuroscience care at Trinity Health Oakland has grown into a nationally recognized stroke center providing comprehensive care. Trinity Health Oakland is the hub of the Michigan Stroke Network, one of the largest Telemedicine Networks in the region, providing more than 15 hospitals with Telemedicine services.

    Opportunity Details

    • Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
      • Outpatient only, no inpatient rounding required
    • Schedule:Monday - Friday 8a to 5p
    • Location:Pontiac and Oakland, Michigan
    • Specialty: Neurology

    Requirements

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
    • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
    • DEA license
    • BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

    Duties & Responsibilities

    A typical day may include:

    • Providing direct patient care
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
    • Participating in teaching and mentoring
    • Documenting in Epic EMR
    • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
    • Supporting community health efforts
