We Are Hiring:

Location: Smithville, Texas and Lockhart, TX (30 minutes from Austin)

Facility Name: Ascension Seton Smithville Health Center and Ascension Seton Lockhart Health Center
Schedule: Full-Time 
$7000 CME allowance + 5 dedicated CME days
Malpractice coverage with tail

This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Area and or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Destination Type.

What You Will Do:

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients.

 

Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient responsibilities include clinic evaluation and management of general neurology patients in rural clinic setting
  • Mon-Fri clinic flexible schedule working between 2 clinics each month
  • Closely affiliated with local Ascension Seton hospitals (Smithville, Edgar B Davis); on-site procedural volume specialties include orthopedics, PM&R, general surgery, and pulmonology
  • Optional inpatient weekend call at Ascension Seton Hays or central facilities
  • Potential for DMS/UT faculty position

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
