Job Details:

• Provide neurology coverage beginning November 2026
• 
  
• Regular clinic hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• 
  
• Outpatient clinic hours during shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 PM 3:00 PM (occurring within the 8-hour onsite day)
• 
  
• 24-hour weekend call coverage from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• 
  
• After-hours call coverage required
• 
  
• EEG reads for inpatient and outpatient as needed
• 
  
• When no outpatients are scheduled, provider is expected to provide onsite hospital coverage
• 
  
• See approximately 6 8 patients per day
• 
  
• EMR system: Cerner
• 
  
• Required procedures include: Radiologic Exam Interpretation, Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap), EEG, Brain Death Examination, and Evoked Potentials
• 
  
• Board Certification in Neurology required (Board Eligible not accepted)
• 
  
• Active Michigan license required
• 
  
• Active DEA required
• 
  
• Provider must be local no flights
• 
  
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency preferred
