Job Details:

• Monday through Friday outpatient position with no call required

• Full-time candidates preferred

• 12-15 patient encounters per shift

• Board certification required (minimum certified)

• BLS certification required

• Fellowship training required

• Neurology specialty skills required with the following preferred competencies:
• 
  
• Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
• 
  
• Diagnostic/therapeutic taps including lumbar puncture and subdural taps
• 
  
• Thrombolytic therapy
• 
  
• Nerve and muscle biopsy
• 
  
• EEG (Electroencephalogram) and EMG (Electromyogram)
• 
  
• NCV (Nerve Conduction Velocity) tests and evoked potentials
• 
  
• Pain management procedures including peripheral nerve blocks and spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks
• 
  
• Botulinum toxin (Botox) administration
• 
  
• Sleep studies
• 
  
• Disability evaluations
• 
  
• Brain death exams
