Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekends, no call, and no overnights
• 
  
• Cover General Neurology consults on the floor, emergency department, and ICU
• 
  
• Must be stroke certified
• 
  
• Preference given to candidates who can cover all or most of the available weeks
• 
  
• Expected patient encounters per shift: 10 to 20 patients
• 
  
• Board certification required at minimum certified level
• 
  
• BLS certification required
• 
  
• Trauma Level 3 facility
• 
  
• Preferred specialty skills include: radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, thrombolytic therapy, nerve and muscle biopsy, EEG, brain death exam, EMG, nerve conduction velocity testing, evoked potentials, pain management procedures, peripheral nerve blocks, spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks, Botulinum toxin administration, and sleep studies
