Physician - Neurology

Job Details:

• Provide neurology hospitalist coverage on a 7 on / 7 off schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Sunday
• 
  
• Position requires 1 FTE or can be split between 2 locums providers working 1 week per month each
• 
  
• 6-month assignment starting August 2026
• 
  
• Perform daily rounding and manage general neurology patients excluding acute stroke cases
• 
  
• Handle off-site calls from 4:30 AM to 8:00 AM
• 
  
• 24-hour call responsibilities with hospital phone calls in the evening, no requirement to come in at night
• 
  
• Treat 5-15 patients per day with an average of 4-5 new consults daily
• 
  
• Work solo without physician support or additional support staff
• 
  
• Manage various patient populations including general neurology, oncology, and labor & delivery patients
• 
  
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
• 
  
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurology required
• 
  
• Must have active PA license at time of presentation
• 
  
• Minimum 1 week per month commitment required for part-time consideration
