Job Details:

• Locum Tenens position covering 1 weekend per month (Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM)
• 
  
• 24-hour on-call coverage assisting in call rotation
• 
  
• Average of 20 patients per shift for neurosurgery consultative service
• 
  
• APP on dayshift (approximately 4-8 hours depending on volume) performing hospital rounding, some first assist, and seeing follow-up patients in clinic along with a small percentage of new patients
• 
  
• Level 2 Trauma Facility
• 
  
• Board certification required (minimum certified)
• 
  
• BLS certification required
• 
  
• Fellowship required
• 
  
• Required specialty skills include: General Neurosurgery (Adult), Trauma, Tumor surgery, VP Shunt, Spinal surgery with and without instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar), Placement of ICP Monitors, and Application of external traction
