    Opportunity Information Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC

    Obstetrician-Gynecologist

    OR a

    Family Medicine Obstetrician

    to join our team in beautiful Jackson, CA. OBGYN POSITION: Sutter Amador OB/GYN

    presents an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible obstetrician-gynecologist to join a supportive, community-focused practice in the scenic Sierra Foothills. This is a

    primarily OB-focused role

    serving an

    underserved patient population.

    The practice is based at a

    53-bed rural hospital

    with

    minimal subspecialty support -no NICU, Urology, or Maternal-Fetal Medicine on-site-though referral options are available in our nearby tertiary care centers. The hospital is known for its

    exceptional labor and delivery nursing staff

    and

    outstanding patient feedback

    regarding the compassionate, high-quality care provided. The practice averages

    20-25 deliveries per month , with

    low acuity

    and a strong

    collaborative team environment . Opportunity exists for those interested in

    growing the gynecologic surgery program

    as well. Physicians have access to

    robotic-assisted surgery , enhancing surgical capabilities in a rural setting. Additionally, there are opportunities to participate in

    graduate medical education teaching,

    working with both OB/GYN residents as well as FM residents participating in a rural residency track. This is an ideal role for those who enjoy

    mentoring

    and shaping the next generation of physicians. The

    proposed call schedule

    includes: Weekday call : Tuesday-Thursday, two weeks per month (6 weekdays total)

    Weekend call : Friday-Monday, one weekend per month (4 weekend days total)

    This equates to

    10 total call days per month , reflecting a

    1:3 call ratio . Physicians are also expected to rotate at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento

    1-2 days per month

    to maintain clinical skills. The location offers the best of both worlds- a peaceful rural lifestyle

    one hour from Sacramento . FMOB POSITION: Sutter Amador FM/OB

    presents an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible family medicine-obstetrician to join a supportive, community-focused practice in the scenic Sierra Foothills. This is a

    combination OB and family medicine role

    serving an

    underserved patient population.

    The practice is based at a

    full spectrum family medicine practice including pediatrics and procedures in addition to OB . Additionally, there are opportunities to participate in

    working with both OB/GYN residents as well as FM residents participating in a rural residency track .

    and shaping the next generation of physicians. The

    proposed call schedule
