    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
    • Rate: $135 -$150 all inclusive

    REQUIRED PROCEDURES
    • Comprehensive and Focused Medical Histories and Physical Examinations
    • Evaluation, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Acute Non-Life-Threatening Illnesses and Injuries
    • Occupational Health, Pre-Employment, Pre-Placement, Medical Surveillance, Fitness-for-Duty, Return-to-Work, and Work-Related Injury Evaluations
    • Travel Medicine Risk Assessments, Counseling, Immunization Recommendations, and Prophylactic Medication Management
    • Interpretation of Laboratory Results, EKGs, and Available Imaging Studies
    • Minor Procedures, Including Wound Care, Laceration Repair, Incision and Drainage, and Splinting as Clinically Appropriate and Privileged
    • Assessment and Stabilization of Emergent Conditions with Coordination of Transfer to a Higher Level of Care
    • Medical Clearance, Respirator Clearance, Hearing Conservation, Accommodation Review, and Mission-Essential Role Assessments as Applicable

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Degree: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an Accredited Medical School; Education Equivalency Substitutions Are Not Permitted
    • Residency: Completion of an Accredited Residency in Occupational Medicine or Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or a Related Specialty
    • Licenses: Current, Full, Active, and Unrestricted Physician License Acceptable Under Applicable DHS/DHA and Duty-Location Requirements
    • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine; Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Another Relevant Specialty May Be Considered in Accordance with Government Requirements
    • DEA: Current DEA Registration Required Under the Labor-Category Qualification Requirements
    • NPI: Active 10-Digit National Provider Identifier Required
    • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support Certification Required
    • Preferred Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Relevant Occupational or Emergency Medicine Credentials
    • Experience: Minimum of One Year of Recent Clinical Experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, or a Comparable Setting
    • Work Authorization: Must Be a U.S. Citizen, Noncitizen National, Lawful Permanent Resident, or Other Individual Legally Authorized to Work in the United States;
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to Stand and Walk for Extended Periods, Type and Navigate EHR Systems, Lift and Carry up to 25 Pounds, Assist Patients, and Respond Rapidly to Urgent or Emergent Situations
    • Availability: Must Be Available and Committed to the Full-Time Onsite Assignment and Any Authorized Mission-Related Surge Support

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide direct physician services in occupational medicine and urgent care
    • Evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage acute, illnesses and injuries commonly presenting in an urgent care environment
    • Conduct pre-employment and pre-placement medical examinations and determine compliance with applicable occupational health standards
    • Evaluate work-related injuries and illnesses and provide appropriate treatment, restrictions, referrals and follow-up recommendations
    • Perform authorized minor procedures, including wound care, laceration repair, incision and drainage and splinting as clinically appropriate
    • Prescribe medications and treatments within licensure, DEA authority, approved formulary or protocols and granted clinical privileges
    • Provide medical oversight, consultation, and clinical support to registered nurses and other authorized clinic personnel without assuming contractor administrative supervision
    • Collaborate with nursing staff, clinic leadership, contractor management, and authorized government personnel
    • Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, risk management, documentation review, clinical competency, training and clinic readiness activities
    • Any other duties as may be assigned
