Overview:

Responsible for providing key support to Physicians, taking specific direction from supervisors on required tasks
to best assist them in their critical role providing the highest level of Physician quality care for all patients.

Special Instructions: This is a temporary till employee comes back from FMLA Responsibilities:

Helps establish and implement cost effective, results based, and professionally managed programs and
innovative initiatives for the Clinic, under direct supervision.
Contributes to less complex components of projects, programs, or processes for the Clinic.
Does simple trend analysis to support continuous improvement efforts for the organization's Clinic strategy.
Performs administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and
rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and administering injections to ensure patients' welfare
and concerns are the highest priority.
Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
Understands and applies the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting
well-being in day-to-day interactions with team.

 

Qualifications:

Education (experience can be substituted for education)
High School Diploma

Work Experience (education can be substituted for experience)
Up to 1 year Preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills.
Basic awareness of digital literacy skills.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to deal tactfully with customers and community.
Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Ability to function in clinical setting with diverse cultural dynamics of clinical staff and patients.

Licenses and Certifications
Medical Assistant certification from an
accredited program.
