Job Details:

• Locum coverage needed in Medical Oncology at a free-standing cancer center
• 
  
• Practice consists of 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology
• 
  
• Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients
• 
  
• Average of 25 outpatient patients per day and 20 inpatient patients per day
• 
  
• Coverage spans both outpatient and inpatient oncology settings
• 
  
• No call required during locum period
• 
  
• Practice includes 7 physicians and 6 APPs
• 
  
• Required duties include participation on a Tumor Board, management of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank oversight, ordering tests and imaging, and prescribing
• 
  
• Chemotherapy administration handled by Nurse Oncologist
• 
  
• Documentation system is EPIC
• 
  
• Minimum availability of 4 weeks per month with 4 days of availability each week required
• 
  
• Must be able to commit to at least a 6-month initial contract
• 
  
• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required
• 
  
• Active SC license or IMLC required
• 
  
• BLS and DEA required
