Physician - Medical Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide full-time Medical Oncology coverage in a hospital, infusion center, and outpatient setting
• 
  
• Schedule runs Monday through Friday during daytime hours with overnight call required
• 
  
• Weekend call is highly preferred; providers who do not take weekend call will conclude service on Fridays at 4:30 PM
• 
  
• PM call required for continuity of care; providers taking call should be on the inpatient side the same week
• 
  
• Consult services average approximately 22-25 patients per day
• 
  
• Support staff includes 2 MDs and 2 APPs with pagers; no APP coverage on weekends
• 
  
• EMR system is Epic
• 
  
• Hospital bed size is 540
• 
  
• Malignant Hematology experience is required
• 
  
• Medical Oncology and Infusion Center coverage required
• 
  
• Board Certification in both Hematology and Oncology required
• 
  
• Active MN license required; IMLC accepted
• 
  
• DEA required
• 
  
• BLS certification required
