Job Summary
Geisinger Eye Institute has an opening for a retina surgeon to join their well-established practice with multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Opportunities to develop a program, perform research, and teach residents in a large, tertiary referral center. A truly great opportunity to join the ever-growing Geisinger system. Job Duties
Our practice:
- Growing ophthalmology residency at Geisinger gives great opportunity to mentor and teach
- Highly trained and experienced support and medical staff
- Extensive diagnosis/treatment tools including OCT/OCAT/ fluorescein and ICG angiography, widefiled imaging, echogrpahy, and photodynamic therapy.
- Geisinger owned surgical facilities- on main campus and nearby outpatient surgery center
- Support from Advance Practitioners
- Clinics have over 50 exam rooms
- Shared call (home call)
- A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists, local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices
