About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established, financially stable Tribal Federally Qualified Health Center that has served Native American and underserved communities across Placer and Nevada counties for roughly 50 years. A third clinic opening in South Placer County in early 2027 will add ~15,000 patients — early hires help shape workflows, culture, and the patient experience from day one. They're looking for adaptable, solutions-oriented providers who are eager to build something new.
What You'll Do
- Provide full-scope outpatient primary care: physical exams, preventive care, chronic disease management, and diagnostic evaluation across the lifespan
- Work within a team-based, integrated care model alongside behavioral health, nursing, and pharmacy
- Document in eClinicalWorks (eCW) using SOAP format
Qualifications
- Physician track: MD or DO, active California medical license, Board Certified in Family Medicine, current DEA, 2+ years of primary care experience
- NP track: Active California NP license with AB 890 §2837.103 certification (3+ FTE years / 4,600 hours transition-to-practice — able to practice without standardized procedures in a group setting), current DEA
- All licensure and DEA required upfront; credentialing (~90 days) completed prior to start
- BLS/CPR certification
- Sensitivity to Native American culture and health needs
Good to Know
- The role begins at the Auburn clinic and transfers to the new Rocklin facility when it opens (~March 2027)
