Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatrics

Job Details:

• Provide ongoing locum tenens pediatric hospitalist call coverage across multiple date ranges
• 
  
• Shift coverage runs in blocks ranging from single days to multi-day periods, primarily 6AM to 6AM or 6AM to 6PM
• 
  
• Expected patient encounters per shift range from 1 to 3 patients
• 
  
• Facility operates an 8-bed birthing center department
• 
  
• Level 3 trauma facility with Level 1 pediatric designation
• 
  
• PALS certification required
• 
  
• Fellowship training required
• 
  
• Pediatric inpatient experience required
• 
  
• Level I nursery experience required
• 
  
• Must be able to attend C-sections, high-risk deliveries, and standard deliveries
• 
  
• Newborn and pediatric intubation skills required
• 
  
• On-site support services include anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, laboratory, and radiology
• 
  
• Nearest major airport is Portland, OR
