Primary Care Physician

Compensation: $200K-$220K per year+ Comprehensive Benefits Package

Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. 8a-4:30p with one evening shift.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 

We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a community health center setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, cost-effective medical services across the lifespan while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform complete physical exams and preventative care services
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging (including X-rays, CTs, MRIs as appropriate)
  • Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed
  • Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
  • Provide follow-up care and patient education to individuals and families
  • Collaborate with behavioral health and other clinical teams to support integrated care
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical support staff as needed
  • Participate in community health education initiatives
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within the clinical setting

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in a community health or outpatient setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in urgent situations
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications
