Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. 8a-4:30p with one evening shift.
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a community health center setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, cost-effective medical services across the lifespan while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
Perform complete physical exams and preventative care services
Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging (including X-rays, CTs, MRIs as appropriate)
Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed
Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
Provide follow-up care and patient education to individuals and families
Collaborate with behavioral health and other clinical teams to support integrated care
Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical support staff as needed
Participate in community health education initiatives
Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within the clinical setting
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
Experience in a community health or outpatient setting preferred
Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in urgent situations
Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications
