Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide vacation coverage for single physician radiation oncology practice
• 
  
• Coverage periods typically last up to 2 weeks throughout the year
• 
  
• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements
• 
  
• Outpatient setting treating adult patient population
• 
  
• See 18-30 outpatients per day on average
• 
  
• Work with 1 Advanced Practice Provider for coverage support
• 
  
• Utilize Epic EMR system and Mosaiq for radiation therapy treatment
• 
  
• Perform conventional radiotherapy, 3D radiotherapy, and external beam radiation procedures
• 
  
• Order tests, images, and prescriptions as needed
• 
  
• Work with onsite and contracted remote dosimetrists
• 
  
• Facility equipped with 2 Elekta Linacs and Phillips Large Bore CT SIM
• 
  
• Treatment planning using MIM software for contouring and Pinnacle (transitioning to Eclipse)
• 
  
• Active Ohio license, Board Certification, and BLS/ACLS required
• 
  
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation
