Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Full-time coverage required, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call
• 
  
• Normal radiation oncology operations including clinic and inpatient consults (very few inpatient consults)
• 
  
• Participation in tumor board and chart rounds
• 
  
• Treatment volumes average 14 patients daily, approximately 8 consults per week and 20 follow-ups
• 
  
• Adult patient population
• 
  
• Off-site hospital-based Comprehensive Cancer Center with hematology/oncology, infusion services, and palliative medicine at same location
• 
  
• Support staff includes oncology-certified RN, physician access assistant, dietician, social worker, financial counselor, and 4 radiation therapists averaging over 25 years of experience
• 
  
• Special procedures include lung SBRT, APBI, and DIBH
• 
  
• Equipment includes Varian TrueBeam with IGRT and OSMS, GE large-bore CT scanner with LAP laser and 4DCT
• 
  
• EMR: EPIC; also utilizes Mosaiq, Eclipse, and Velocity
• 
  
• 1 Physicist onsite, 1 Dosimetrist onsite, and 3.6 Radiation Therapists onsite
• 
  
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiation Oncology required
• 
  
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ in hand required
• 
  
• DEA required
• 
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience required

The cancer center operates as an off-site, hospital-based facility providing multidisciplinary oncology care, including radiation oncology, hematology/oncology, infusion services, and palliative medicine all in one location. The facility is equipped with advanced radiation oncology technology and staffed by an experienced, dedicated team of oncology professionals.
