DO;MD - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
- Coverage needed for 2 weeks in June, with full-time coverage from July through October 2
- Must hold an active Illinois license
- Responsible for patient evaluation, simulation, and dosimetry treatment planning
- Prescribe radiation therapy and conduct weekly assessments of patients under treatment
- Perform post-treatment patient follow-up
- Check daily images for verification of alignment and accuracy of treatment
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - no call, holidays, or weekends
- 25 to 30 patients under treatment per day
- Cases include external beam treatments, on-treatment visits (OTVs), and follow-ups
- Procedures include on-site supervision for compliance, checking SRS's, on-treatment visits, follow-ups, and consults
