Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• 4 days per week, 8-hour clinical days with no call
• 
  
• Schedule is Monday through Thursday; if covering physician is unavailable, schedule may be adjusted (e.g., Tuesday through Friday) or expanded to five days, with an additional day off the following week, totaling eight working days per pay period
• 
  
• 7-10 patients per day depending on new or follow-up visits, add-ons, and urgent visits
• 
  
• 1 day per week reserved for On Treatment Visits (OTV)
• 
  
• Patient encounters per shift: 7-12 follow-up and 12-15 active treatment
• 
  
• ACR Accredited, ACoS Accredited, HFAP Accredited, NSABP Accredited with the Breast Center, and QOPI Certified with Medical Oncology
• 
  
• Completely paperless and filmless EMR environment
• 
  
• Support resources include support staff, research and nurse navigators, in-house pharmacy, in-house palliative care, spiritual care, financial counselor, and medical nutritional treatment
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• Required skills include: Brachytherapy (Intracavitary), Linear Accelerator with Rapid Arc/VMAT and Electrons, Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
• 
  
• Required treatment planning skills include: Conventional treatment planning, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI), and Clinical Trials
• 
  
• ABLS and BLS certifications required
