Physician Recruiter

Introduction
This vital role involves sourcing, recruiting, and screening physician candidates to meet the staffing needs of healthcare organizations. The Physician Recruiter will develop strategies to attract top talent, build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, and contribute to the growth of the company's talented pool of physicians and advanced practice providers. This position offers flexibility with remote and hybrid options, with a preference for candidates who can spend some time in the office to foster stronger team integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans targeting physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Manage recruitment assignments, tracking market trends and retention insights to inform strategies.
• Execute effective recruitment campaigns, including job postings, specialty advertising, outreach efforts, and residency program engagement.
• Utilize ATS (preferably Bullhorn) and other recruiting tools to source candidates efficiently.
• Document all candidate communications and data within ATS systems to ensure compliance and tracking.
• Establish and meet hiring goals, creating detailed workflows with deadlines and deliverables.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with candidates, physicians, and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to refine candidate search criteria and selection processes.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with passive candidates and past applicants for future opportunities.
• Negotiate employment terms effectively and influence candidate decisions positively.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare recruitment experience, ideally focusing on physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), with Bullhorn experience preferred.
• Proficiency with recruiting software, job boards, and outreach tools.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results consistently.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team.
• Evidence of supporting innovation, creativity, and openness to coaching.
• Experience supporting an inclusive work environment is valued.
• Additional flexibility for on-site meetings and candidate interviews, particularly on Wednesdays, and willingness to travel if necessary.
