Physician Assistant – Interventional Radiology & Wound Care

We are a busy, patient-focused Interventional Radiology practice specializing in arterial and venous procedures, wound care management, and advanced minimally invasive treatments. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care in a collaborative and compassionate environment. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team.


Position Summary


The Physician Assistant will work closely with our interventional radiologists, PA's, and medical staff to support diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures, perform wound care management, and ensure excellent continuity of patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialized practice that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in arterial and venous interventional procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure care.

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, and physicals.

  • Manage wound care cases, including assessment, debridement, dressing changes, and coordination of ongoing care.

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging and lab results under physician supervision.

  • Participate in follow-up visits, both inpatient and outpatient.

  • Conduct home visits for wound care patients

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, wound care protocols, and post-procedural expectations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Required Qualifications


  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

  • Current NCCPA certification

  • Active state PA license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • BLS and ACLS certification required

  • Prefer 1–2 years of clinical experience, ideally in interventional radiology, vascular surgery, or wound care, but not required.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Strong procedural and clinical assessment abilities
