  • On-Call: 2 overnight shifts/month, 1 weekend call every 3 months

  • Certifications: Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery; Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $300/hour
  • Pay Schedule: Weekly direct deposit

What You'll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations including medical histories, exams, and imaging interpretation
  • Develop and manage non-surgical treatment plans for foot and ankle conditions
  • Perform a full range of foot and ankle surgeries such as fracture fixation, arthroscopy, joint replacements, and deformity corrections
  • Handle complex trauma, limb salvage, and high-acuity cases
  • Oversee pre- and post-operative patient care, including wound management and rehab
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams and resident education
  • Provide urgent/emergent orthopedic care during on-call shifts
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
  • Contribute to clinical research and operational readiness
What You Need

  • Required:
    • MD or DO from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
    • Current, active, unrestricted medical license in California
    • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
    • Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
    • Minimum 1-year post-residency experience

  • Preferred:
    • Experience working in military healthcare settings
    • Strong surgical and diagnostic skills in foot and ankle SPD
