We invite you to join us in our mission to ensure that every patient and family member feels valued, respected, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.Practice Description: Urgent Care Locations: American Canyon, Benicia, Dixon, Rio Vista, Winters, Vacaville, Fairfield CA Hours of business: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday , Sundays, Weekends 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMInpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient onlyCall Ratio: Balanced call ratio shared among physicians and sitesDaily Patient Census: Average 20-40 patients per dayEquipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive resourcesProvider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)Primary Responsibilities:Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plansRecommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuriesMonitor lab results and medication adherencePrescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations as necessaryEducate patients and families on procedures, test results, and treatment optionsRefer patients to specialists when neededActively participate in hospital committees and initiativesCollaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient careQualifications:MD or DO degreeBoard-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related fieldLicensed to practice medicine in the state of CaliforniaProven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settingsExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentCompensation and Benefits:Income Guarantee at $354,000Full-time: 15 shifts per month - 1 shift: 10 hours APP Supervision: $12,000 per year per 1.0 FTE APPSigning Bonus: up to $30,000Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2nd year): up to $30,000 per yearRelocation bonus: Up to $10,000 (based on location)Emphasis on positive work-life balance0.5 -1.0 FTE Physicians eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Health, Dental, PTO, Sick Pay, Retirement Options.
